Who we are

Off Grid Oven is a brand of The Roman Events LLC, a Nevada company. This policy covers offgridoven.com and the emails we send about your booking.

What we collect

When you request a date: your name, email, phone number, company (if any), event dates and times, venue address, guest count, event type, who will run the oven, any extras you ask for and your notes.

When you accept a quote or sign the rental agreement online: the time, your typed name and signature, your IP address and your browser type. We keep these as evidence of the agreement.

When you send us your certificate of insurance or payment details by email, we keep those messages with your booking.

How we use it

To answer your request, prepare your quote and agreement, schedule the truck, collect payment, return your deposit and contact you about your event. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Services that process it for us

Vercel hosts the website and counts visits without cookies. Neon stores booking records in a database. Resend delivers our emails. Google Maps Platform suggests addresses as you type the venue and calculates the driving distance for the delivery fee. Staff sign in to the admin area with Google or an emailed link. Each provider handles the data only to run its service for us.

Cookies and tracking

The public website sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you: it records the pages viewed, the referring site, and your country and device type, plus anonymous steps such as picking a date or sending a request. The only cookies are the sign-in cookies our staff use in the admin area.

To stop spam, the booking form keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for about a day; we never store the raw address from the form.

How long we keep it

Requests that don't become bookings are kept for up to two years so we can see past conversations. Booking records, signed agreements and payment records are kept for at least seven years for tax and legal reasons.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. Email theromaneventsllc@gmail.com or call (307) 461-9823. Nevada residents may also send us a request to opt out of the sale of their information; we don't sell it, but we'll confirm in writing.

Children

The site is meant for adults planning events. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date below.
